Build The Winchester!

Many fans of CUUSOO will remember that a modular style version of The Winchester was rejected earlier this year due to concerns about the adult content of the movie the set was based on. While many were upset about "The Win" being rejected, I think most in the AFOL community realized Shaun of the Dead was not exactly the best property to base a set off of.

While an official release is not going to happen, it appears Yatkuu and others working on the project have been laboring to make instructions for the set available to the public. Those are now available for download! I've been looking through them this morning and the entire project looks great. I encourage you to download the files and take a look for yourself. Even if you don't want to build the set, it's always interesting to see how others design their MOCs and the types of building techniques they are able to fit in.

There's a thread up on brickset with more information, but I figured this project is too cool not to blog about. The CUUSOO idea interests me a great deal and it's great to see that projects can have a life after rejection.
